Bemidji State Park is one mile down the shore from Ruttger's.
They have many miles of groomed cross country trails and host several
snowshoe outings during the winter.
--Itasca
State Park, headwaters of the Mississippi River is just 40 miles
south with 31 miles of groomed, cross country trails
--Bemidji Chamber of Commerce and
Recreation offers several area guides and maps for activities and
events here in Bemidji.
--Buena Vista Ski Area is just
a ten minute drive from us. With a variety of downhill slopes
and mile of groomed cross country trails there is something for
everyone.
--Snowmobiling
is a popular sport here and with several hundred miles of trails in
our area the possibilities for fun are numerous. Trails can be
accessed directly from the resort!
--Ice
fishing is a favorite pastime for many people in Northern
Minnesota. Click
